About
Grey County includes some of the best ski slopes in Ontario, but the region is becoming a popular destination for foodies, spa-seekers, nature-lovers, and even wine enthusiasts, thanks to an emerging wine region in the Southern Georgian Bay area.
Grey County first became a county of Upper Canada in 1852. Since then, the economy remains largely based on agriculture; however, tourism is becoming increasingly important to the region. Grey County is also home to 10 beautiful waterfalls – 7 of which are accessible during the winter months.
